Re: Your Favorite Birds
Yes she is definitely a keeper. The other sister has one of my other favorite things which is horses. She also lives on 90 plus acres in Northern Wisconsin. It is so rich in wildlife up there. Saw plenty of deer, a black bear, bald eagles and a falcon among other things.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
So what part of the world do you call home? I'm in the big old state of Texas, but was born in Wisconsin.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
Ahhhhh, birds are my love. I have so many birds at my feeder that I can't name them all right now.
I probably love the woodpeckers the most. I have pileated, red headed, red bellied, hairy and downy woodpeckers out there. I will put some pictures in the picture forum.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
Excellent. Please do. I still have all of the photos from my sister's place to sort, edit and post on Flickr so I can share them here. There was at least one kind of woodpecker that I got shots of. If you are a woodpecker lover then you can probably ID it for me.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
I sorted out my bird pictures last night, but they are not so good. However, you can see some of my variety. I will post them in the photo thread, even the ones not so good.
I have many more kinds of birds than I have pictures. I think I need a better camera.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
You have a strange idea of not so good. I really enjoyed them. Birds are a tough thing to shoot and I think that you're doing quite well. I'm really envious of those Eagle shots.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
I love the eagles! I have seen them over my yard, but they were very high up. Usually I see them across the road at the lake.

Re: Your Favorite Birds
I hadn't even thought to ask where you live that you have the eagles. My sister is in northern Wisconsin. I never even realized that we get them there. The trip up there was great. I even saw a Falcon of some sort.
