Re: Double good news

If it weren't for the risk of hurricanes I wouldn't mind living in South Texas, the Rio Grande Valley area specifically. Not only would the Winters be even milder than where I am, it is a butterfly paradise. I cheer when I see nearly 40 species in a year now. Down there it could be 100 or more.

Re: Double good news

Unfortunately some of my favorite spots where I might like to live are right in the middle of hurricane alley. I could so see myself living in the Virgin Islands for instance.

I've always wanted to visit the Keys and get way out toward the end of them. PR and I went once but only got to like the first one I think. I crave so much more.

Unique people need a unique place. I hope to see it before I'm too old.

LOL Surprisingly, a lot of "older, different" people retire there.
It's like a draw for us old Hippies.... emoticon

Nope....those walking upright on two legs are the 'rare' ones. emoticon And most of the folks there get around on those small European type scooters....in every color of the rainbow! emoticon
