Things are struggling here too, even the plants that are supposed to be drought tolerant. Nothing out there can live with 0 water. Arkansas had that same problem with a late freeze.

We've had about a 10th of an inch of rain in like 2 months!
And we are still in the upper 90's....so uncanny! emoticon

Until recently it was the same for us with the rain. I keep hoping to see an increase in the number of Monarchs coming through our area. Two of their favorite nectar plants in my yard are blooming quite well.

We are completely done with everything here. Had two very hard freezes...down into the 20's...and most nights now we are in the low 30's.

It's been typical Texas weather here. You get freezing temps for a few days then it's in the 60s, then back to freezing. Christmas Day it was 54 and sunny.

We've been below freezing, since Dec. 1st I think....today we finally made it to 38. And we've had 8 inches of snow...heavy drizzling fog (which caused a 42 car pile up on I-84 yesterday morning going into Boise....so glad we did not have to take Dad down yesterday!) emoticon

42 cars? Ouch. I'm glad that you were able to avoid that too. Weather here has been unbelievable lately. We've hit high 60s a few times. I don't think that we've gotten below freezing for a while now.

We have been in an Inversion....heavy layer of fog laying low over the valley, for going on 3 weeks we have not seen any SUN what-so-ever! emoticon

It has been freezing rain here until just recently. The end part of this week is supposed to be much nicer. I still keep hoping to see an over wintering butterfly on one of the warm days so that I can report the first one of the year. So far the only one wasn't in the yard so I couldn't count it.

We had some storms come through...dumped 6 inches of snow over the weekend. That cleared out the inversion!
Now we have rain moving in....that is a good thing. We have been in a drought for a couple of years.....
