Re: Sneaky Monarchs
The last two weeks have been a mess on and off. Too much snow and ice for my liking. During the warm periods I have seen butterflies though.
I've seen some photographs from Mexico and they are stunning. There is nothing quite like a sky totally filled with Monarchs.

Re: Sneaky Monarchs
I can only imagine. I mean that rest stop we stopped in during our trip to Corpus Christi when they were migrating, was amazing enough!

Re: Sneaky Monarchs
I guess that my most butterfly encounters happened during trips to the Rio Grande Valley. One year there was a massive migration of American Snouts. The air was full of them as we were driving.

Re: Sneaky Monarchs
I felt so bad on that trip to Corpus Christi....cause we were hitting them by the hundreds on the front of the RV..

Re: Sneaky Monarchs
I felt bad too when I found butterfly remains on PR's vehicle. It's just something that can't be helped.
