My two worst ones were from the Bahamas and California. The Bahamas burn was further complicated by a reaction to insect bites. The skin on my legs was so tight from swelling that I thought it would split open. It was pure agony to walk. I had to go to a doctor there on the island. The California trip left me severely blistered and miserable. I couldn't stand wearing clothing of any kind on my upper body.

Totally sucks, doesn't it! And there is nothing you can do to stop those blisters from breaking and clothing from sticking to the ooze! 
Now we have to "watch" for skin cancer the rest of our life!

That is a scary thought. I don't like things that sneak up on you like cancer does.
You should have seen the last of my Monarchs to emerge. She was huge. That caterpillar must have eaten very well. It was the caterpillar that I brought inside right before vacation. She came out a few days after I got home.
