Good attitudes are also contagious in many cases. You are more likely to get a good response from someone if you put forward a positive attitude.

I have found that Mint really does seem to repel mice. I'm about to test the soap spray idea on my parsley. Whenever I bring it indoors I get Spider Mites.

Supposedly "mint tea bags" placed in the corners of doors and windows will keep sugar ants out. I never used this, buy my girlfriend in Minnesota did.

The tea bags would certainly be cleaner than spreading coffee grounds around inside. I may have to give that a try as we get ants inside the house occasionally.

I think she started using that method when they got a new dog.....we nicknamed it "lips" cause it ATE EVERYTHING! emoticon
And the mint did not seem to hurt him...but it did work on the ants...
So good luck..

the best way to get rid of aphids is ladybugs! they love to eat them so if you can find a few and put them near the aphids they will love you forever and so will their friends!

You are certainly right about ladybugs. Both the adults and the larval form eat aphids. I have actually watched tham at work in my milkweed patch. Whenever I find a stray ladybug I move it to where the aphids are. You can even buy them for release into your garden.
