Re: Cold frame instructions and photos
Still haven't found any of our native milkweed. It is possible that some of the seeds I put out have sprouted though. I just have to wait until they are large enough to positively ID. This lingering cold weather isn't helping any.

I saw on the news last night that you all might be in for some thunderstorms now...

Re: Cold frame instructions and photos
They were right. We had a few days of rain. This is the first nice day I've seen lately.

Re: Cold frame instructions and photos
We had a week of above normal warmth....really caused everything to explode into SPRING mode. But now it's cooling off....mid to high 50's for highs and mid to high 30's for lows. I'll be covering my plants in garbage bags, if it gets close to freezing. And we have 3 to 4 days of off and on rain coming.

Re: Cold frame instructions and photos
We've been hitting high 70s and into the 80s lately. Later this week it is supposed to drop into 60s for the highs.
That native milkweed really sneaked up on me. What is funny is that I had been actively checking one particular spot since I knew there had been a patch of native plants there. Now suddenly there is a patch at least a foot high and about to bloom. Now I have to start watching for caterpillars.
